Working Principle:

The 2051C is part of Emerson's renowned Rosemount series, which has a long - standing reputation for quality and innovation in instrumentation. It is engineered to provide precise measurements of pressure, whether it is gauge pressure, absolute pressure, or differential pressure. The coplanar design of the 2051C sets it apart, enabling seamless integration with a variety of valve manifolds, primary elements, and remote seals. The Rosemount 2051C operates based on a highly accurate sensing mechanism. At its core, it uses a capacitance - based sensor technology. When pressure is applied to the transmitter, it causes a change in the capacitance of the sensor. The process pressure is first transferred to a sensing diaphragm through a filling fluid. As the diaphragm deflects due to the pressure, it alters the distance between two capacitor plates, resulting in a change in capacitance.
