Core Technical Performance The Rosemount CD3A offers ±0.075% of span accuracy (standard) and ±0.04% optional accuracy with calibration, covering a wide measurement range from 0–10 kPa to 0–100 MPa (0–1.45 psi to 0–14,500 psi). It provides a 4–20 mA analog output paired with HART® 7 digital communication, enabling seamless integration with PLCs, DCS, and SCADA systems for real-time data acquisition and remote diagnostics. Powered by 10.5–42 V DC loop power, the transmitter operates reliably in extreme ambient temperatures from -40°C to +85°C (-40°F to +185°F), with response times under 100 milliseconds to ensure dynamic process control. Its piezoresistive or capacitive silicon-on-sapphire sensor ensures long-term stability, even in fluctuating conditions.

Available with flanged (ANSI/DIN/JIS), threaded (NPT/BSP), or hygienic clamp-style connections, it adapts to global installation standards (ASME B16.5/B16.47, ISO 7005). The IP66/IP67-rated aluminum or stainless steel enclosure protects against dust, moisture, and mechanical impacts, while its sensors endure vibration (2g RMS) and shock (50g), ensuring reliability in offshore platforms, refineries, and chemical plants.
