The PDS843 is a high - performance differential pressure transmitter designed to meet the demanding requirements of various industrial applications. With its 4 - 20mA output, it provides a reliable and standardized electrical signal for seamless integration into control systems.

This transmitter is engineered to measure the difference between two pressure levels accurately. Working Principle

The PDS843 utilizes a pressure sensor that converts the measured pressure differences into an electrical signal. Inside the transmitter, there are two elements. The primary element is exposed to the two pressure sources whose difference is to be measured. The secondary element then accurately measures the pressure difference created by the primary element. The pressure applied onto sealed diaphragms is converted into an electrical signal through one of several methods. The resulting electrical output, which is typically a 4 - 20mA signal, is linear and proportional to the actual measured differential pressure (delta - p or dp). For example, a 4mA signal often corresponds to a measured delta - p of 0 psi, while a 20mA signal represents the maximum measurable value within the set range of the transmitter.
