CYK10 guarantees absolute water-proof connection of Memosens sensors to the transmitter. Its inductive coupling shows no contact corrosion and guarantees galvanic isolation of transmitter and medium. Simply forget about limited cable length, interfering potentials or moisture and benefit from completely safe and reliable signal transmission.

The CYK10 is available in a range of configurations, including different cable lengths (from 1 meter to 100 meters), conductor cross-sections, and jacket materials, allowing customization to meet the specific requirements of various applications. Whether used in a small-scale water treatment plant or a large-scale chemical processing facility, the CYK10 provides a reliable, flexible, and future-proof connectivity solution that aligns with Endress+Hauser's vision of "Process Automation for a Better World."

Engineering Excellence in Every Detail

The CYK10 features high-quality copper conductors with a stranded design, ensuring flexibility and resistance to fatigue from repeated bending. The conductors are available in cross-sections ranging from 0.25 mm² to 1.5 mm², allowing selection based on current requirements and cable length. For long-distance installations (exceeding 50 meters), larger cross-sections (1.0 mm² or 1.5 mm²) are recommended to minimize voltage drop and ensure stable signal transmission.
Insulation: Each conductor is insulated with a chemically resistant, temperature-stable material—typically polyethylene (PE) or polyvinyl chloride (PVC)—depending on the application environment. The insulation provides excellent electrical isolation, preventing cross-talk between conductors and protecting against moisture ingress. For applications involving aggressive chemicals or high temperatures, a fluoropolymer insulation is available as an option, offering superior resistance to corrosion and thermal degradation.

Installation Planning

 Avoid routing the CYK10 near power cables (AC or DC), motors, transformers, or other sources of EMI/RFI. If routing near power cables is unavoidable, maintain a minimum distance of 30 cm or 1 meter. Cross power cables at a 90-degree angle to minimize interference.
Bending Radius: Ensure that the cable is not bent beyond its minimum bending radius, which is typically 10 times the cable's outer diameter or 15 times the outer diameter . Excessive bending can damage the conductors, insulation, or shielding, leading to signal degradation or cable failure.
