This non-invasive method ensures accurate level detection with ±3 mm (±0.12 in) precision for liquids and ±6 mm (±0.24 in) for solids, even in environments with foam, turbulence, or vapor. The device supports a measuring range up to 5 meters (16.4 ft) for liquids and 3 meters (9.8 ft) for solids, making it ideal for small to mid-sized tanks, open channels, and silos.

The FMU40's narrow 6° beam angle minimizes interference from tank walls, internal structures, or obstructions, ensuring stable readings in complex geometries.
