Ensure the transmitter is installed in a position where it can directly measure the hydrostatic pressure of the liquid column. Avoid areas with excessive vibration, temperature fluctuations, or exposure to corrosive gases. For flange-mounted installations, verify that the process connection matches the transmitter's flange specifications (e.g., ANSI, DIN). Use compatible gaskets and bolts to secure the flange, ensuring a leak-free seal. For threaded installations, apply thread sealant compatible with the process fluid and tighten according to torque specifications provided in the manual.
Mount the transmitter vertically to prevent measurement errors caused by tilting. When measuring liquid in tanks, position the transmitter below the minimum liquid level to ensure the sensing diaphragm remains submerged. If the tank is pressurized, install a diaphragm seal or isolator to protect the transmitter from overpressure.
