Pre - Installation Preparation:

Mounting and Piping Installation

1.Application Assessment: Before installation, evaluate the process conditions, including fluid type, temperature, pressure, flow rate range, and piping configuration. Ensure that the CMF300M35's specifications are compatible with the application requirements. 
2.Piping Design: The CMF300M35 requires straight pipe runs to ensure stable flow profiles. While Coriolis meters are less sensitive to flow disturbances than other meter types, it is recommended to provide a minimum of 5 pipe diameters of straight pipe upstream and 2 pipe diameters downstream of the meter, especially if valves, elbows, or other flow - disturbing components are present.
3.Material Compatibility: Confirm that the meter's wetted materials are compatible with the process fluid. For corrosive or abrasive fluids, select the appropriate optional material to prevent damage to the flow tubes.

1.Orientation: The CMF300M35 can be installed in horizontal, vertical, or inclined orientations. For liquid applications, vertical installation with upward flow is recommended to ensure full pipe filling and prevent air entrapment. 
2.Support and Alignment: Use proper pipe supports to avoid excessive stress on the meter's process connections. The meter should be aligned with the pipeline to prevent bending or torsional stress on the flow tubes, which could affect measurement accuracy.
3.Flange Connection: Ensure that flange gaskets are correctly installed and tightened to the manufacturer's recommended torque specifications to prevent leaks. 
4.Vibration Isolation: While the CMF300M35's dual - tube design is resistant to vibration, installing vibration isolators may be necessary in high - vibration environments to further enhance measurement stability.
