Product Overview
Working Principle
In tanks and vessels, the 3051CD can be used to measure the liquid level. By measuring the differential pressure between the bottom and the top of the tank (taking into account the density of the liquid), the transmitter can accurately determine the height of the liquid column. This is essential in industries such as oil and gas, where accurate level measurement in storage tanks is crucial for inventory management and safety.
In some processes, the differential pressure measurement can also be used to infer the density of a fluid.
