Leveraging Time Domain Reflectometry (TDR) technology, this transmitter delivers exceptional accuracy, reliability, and versatility in measuring continuous liquid levels and interface levels across diverse industries such as oil and gas, chemical processing, power generation, and water/wastewater management. Its advanced radar-based design ensures stable performance in challenging environments, including those with turbulence, foam, vapor, or low-dielectric fluids.

The 5301 utilizes a 1.2 GHz low-frequency probe to penetrate low-dielectric media (dielectric constant >1.4), enabling accurate measurements in applications like hydrocarbon storage, acid/base tanks, and condensate systems. It offers a measurement range of 0.1–20 meters (4 inches–66 feet) depending on probe length and fluid properties, with ±1 mm (±0.04 inches) accuracy for dielectrics >1.8 and ±2 mm (±0.08 inches) for dielectrics <1.8. The transmitter supports multiple output signals—4–20 mA with HART® 7, FOUNDATION Fieldbus, and PROFIBUS PA—ensuring seamless integration with PLCs, DCS, and SCADA systems.
