1. Product Line Overview
The Rosemount™ 396 series comprises a family of rugged pH and Oxidation-Reduction Potential (ORP) sensors engineered for reliability in harsh industrial environments. This product line includes six primary models:
396/396VP: Immersion/insertion sensors with stainless steel bodies .
396P/396PVP: Threaded-process sensors featuring 1-inch NPT connections for direct piping installation .
396R/396RVP: Retractable sensors with titanium housings (21-inch or 36-inch lengths) for maintenance without process shutdown 
All models integrate Emerson's patented TUpH® reference technology, specifically designed to minimize maintenance and maintain signal stability in coating, abrasive, high-solid, and chemically aggressive applications .
