Product Overview

The FMU 30 is a compact ultrasonic level transmitter that utilizes the time - of - flight principle to measure the distance between the sensor and the surface of the liquid or bulk solid. It is engineered to provide continuous, non - contact level measurement, which makes it suitable for a variety of applications where contact - based measurement methods may not be feasible or reliable.

After calculating the distance between the transducer and the surface of the substance, the FMU 30 determines the level of the liquid or solid in the container. If the total height of the container or the known distance from the transducer to the bottom of the container is known, the level can be easily calculated by subtracting the measured distance from the total height.
