Koso Electropneumatic Valve Positioner EPA804

The KOSO EPA804 is an electro-pneumatic positioner designed for single-acting angular travel applications.

It is part of the EPA800 series. The input signal is typically 4 - 20mADC (standard), and it can also support  control with signals like 4 - 12mADC and 12 - 20mADC. It converts the electrical input signal into an air pressure signal to control the angular travel of the pneumatic actuator, with a rated angular travel of 0 - 90 degrees. The pressure (air supply pressure) ranges from 0.14 - 0.16MPa or 0.17 - 0.50MPa, and the air consumption is 5NL/min when the supply pressure is 0.4MPa.

It has features such as low hysteresis (less than 1% of full travel) and low dead band (less than 0.4% of full travel). The output characteristics can be linear, and it can also be changed to quick open or equal percentage characteristics. It is available in explosion-proof and ordinary types, with an operating temperature range of -20 - +60°C for the explosion-proof type and -40 - +80°C for the ordinary type, and a relative humidity not exceeding 90%. The air supply interface is ZG1/4, and the housing material is aluminum alloy,
