Core Technical Performance The Rosemount 8600D offers ±0.75% of reading accuracy for liquids and ±1.0% for gases and steam, with a measurement range of 0.3–15 m/s (1–50 ft/s) for liquids, 4–100 m/s (13–328 ft/s) for gases, and 7–100 m/s (23–328 ft/s) for steam. It provides a 4–20 mA analog output paired with HART® 7 digital communication, enabling real-time data acquisition, remote diagnostics, and calibration adjustments. Powered by 10.5–42 V DC loop power, the transmitter operates reliably in extreme ambient temperatures from -40°C to +85°C (-40°F to +185°F), with response times under 100 milliseconds to ensure dynamic process control.
